Terms & Conditions

  1. Charges
    1. All prices stated are in Singapore currency and include 9% GST unless otherwise indicated (GST Reg. No. 201705239R).
    2. No registration fee and SIM card fee is $5.45 for the application of a new Mobile line or porting in of an existing line, unless otherwise specifically waived or discounted.
    3. Any change or replacement of SIM card due to loss of SIM, damage or any other reason will be subject to a SIM card replacement fee of $5.45 unless Zero1 in its sole discretion determines that the replacement is due to no fault of the Customer.
    4. An administrative fee of $10.90 applies for each change of mobile plan where permitted and chargeable value-added services (VAS).
    5. Bundled call minutes and SMS are for local outgoing usage only.
    6. A local outgoing call is charged at 5.45 cents per minute. Charging is based on per minute block and rounded to the nearest cent on a per call basis. For 1800 Toll Free/1900 Premium Service numbers, standard local call charges apply.
    7. Each local outgoing SMS is charged at 5.45 cents. Each overseas SMS is charged at 18 cents (GST not applicable for overseas SMS).
    8. Additional standard roaming data charges will apply for overseas usage of Data. Roaming Voice and SMS services are chargeable at the prevailing pay-per-use roaming rates. Overseas roaming services are not eligible for foreigners and foreign pass holders such as Dependent Pass, Student Pass and Social Visit Pass.
    9. All information is accurate at published time. If there is any discrepancy between the published rates and invoice rates, the rates in our billing system will supersede the published rates.

  2. Registration and Contract Period
    1. Customer will officially register for the service on Zero1’s official website (www.zero1.sg), Zero1 mobile apps or using Zero1’s official service registration form. When Customer registers for Zero1 mobile services, all relevant and applicable charges, including the monthly subscription fees, one-time fees and any other applicable fees or charges are charged immediately to the credit or debit card as provided by the Customer. All charges are non-refundable.
    2. When Customer registers online and the charges are successfully charged to the credit/debit card, the Customer is deemed to have entered into a service contract and accepted all relevant Zero1’s service terms and conditions as stated in Zero1’s website which is subject to change without prior notice.
    3. When Customer registers via the Zero1 official service registration form, the Customer is deemed to have entered into a service contract and accepted all relevant Zero1’s service terms and conditions once the registration form is accepted by the staff and/or appointed agents of Zero1. The credit/debit card indicated in the registration form may be charged immediately or at a later time as determined by Zero1.
    4. Customer can register up to 10 different numbers with each valid ID, except for foreigners, you can register up to 6 lines.
    5. The monthly subscription fee is charged and payable in advance at the beginning of the billing period. The billing period is 30 calendar days from the time the SIM card is delivered to the Customer.
    6. Notwithstanding Clause 2.3 and 2.4, Zero1 reserves the right to cancel and void the registration without giving any explanation. Any charges made to the credit/debit card will be refunded in full without interest. Refund may be given by crediting Customer’s credit/debit card used for registration or by cheque or any other acceptable at the sole discretion of Zero1.
    7. Termination- The minimum subscription period is 1 month. You may request to terminate the service after the first month by giving Zero1 seven (7) days' written
      notice by 3pm, before the end of your bill cycle. If you miss the 7 days' timeline to submit your request before 3pm, the service can only be terminated at the end of 
      the next billing cycle. No refund will be given for any unused period and any accued benefits or promotions will no longer be eligible.
    8. Temporary Suspension – Customer may temporarily suspend their number for a minimum duration of 3 months and maximum duration of 6 months. During the period of suspension, Customer will have to pay a monthly number retention fee of $5.45 in order to retain their number. An administrative fee of $10.90 applies. Should there be lapses in payment, Zero1 reserves the right to terminate the service and re-circulate the mobile number to other customers. This temporary suspension service is only available to Customers who have been with Zero1 for more than 12 months. A reactivation fee of $10.90 applies.
      1. Kill Switch - Customer may initiate Kill Switch and suspend their line to safeguard against security breaches such as malware and spyware, phishing, data breaches, etc. Once Kill Switch is activated, customer will not able to access their line's services such as data, phone calls, SMSes, etc. Recurring payments will continue to be processed as Kill Switch does not terminate subscription.
      2. For usage based charges which may be charged after the billing period they were incurred, Zero1 reserves the right to charge to the Customer’s credit/debit card regardless of the official service termination date. In the event that the credit/debit card cannot be deducted, Customer is still for the charges and liable to make payment via other forms of payment including cheque, internet banking, bank transfer or cash at Zero1’s office.
      3. Zero1 reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service without prior notice to the Customer. Zero1 is not obliged to provide any reason for the suspension or termination of the service. In the event that the service is suspended or terminated by Zero1, Customer remains liable for the subscription fee up to the end of the day the service is suspended or terminated as well as all unbilled usage based charges up to the time the service is suspended or terminated. If the service is not terminated by Zero1, Customer remains liable for the subscription charges until the official termination by the Customer according to the prescribed termination process, regardless if the Customer used or did not use the service.
      4. Customer may request for the service to be unsuspended if Zero1 is satisfied that all outstanding payments are paid. If the service is suspended, Customer may be able to retain the same mobile number, subject to Zero1's discretion, and the subscription period will continue from the date the service is suspended, as if there is no break in the service. The subscription charges will be charged to the Customer in advance before the service is resumed. All data, voice and SMS usage consumed before service suspension will continue to be accrued once the service is reinstated. All and any associated administrative fees and interest charges as determined at Zero1’s discretion will be applicable including new SIM card charges if applicable. Customer will not be entitled to any refund or rebate. The final decision to un-suspend the service is subject to the sole discretion of Zero1.
      5. If the service is terminated, customer will not be able to retain the same mobile number and will have to select a new number and change to a new SIM card. The customer is liable for all charges which include the cost of choice number, the SIM card, delivery charges as well as other charges that may be imposed by Zero1.
      6. The Customer accepts and agrees that Zero1 does not warrant that the Service will be provided uninterrupted or free from errors or that any identified defect will be corrected.
      7. Zero1 shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss, liability, costs and/or damage whatsoever (whether direct, indirect or consequential) in respect of any matter howsoever arising (whether in tort, negligence or otherwise) in connection with the provision and/or use of the Service.
      8. The Customer agrees not to use the Service in violation of any laws or regulations applicable from time to time; or to misuse the Service in any manner deemed inappropriate by Zero1; or to allow any use of the Service to interfere with other users' access to and use of the Service.
      9. Zero1 reserves the right at its absolute discretion to discontinue and/or suspend the Service whether in whole or in part without any liability whatsoever to the Customer.
      10. Zero1 reserves the right to amend these terms any time by prior written notice to the Customer in such manner as Zero1 deems appropriate.
    9. Add-on Services Bundled with Mobile Plan
      1. Calling Number Non-Display (CNND) – The CNND is provided as an add-on service with a monthly fee of $5.45 per month, chargeable in full when the service is subscribed. The billing period will follow the billing period of the main mobile service. Service charge is not pro-rated. A one-time registration fee of $10.90 is applicable and chargeable at the time of service application.
      2. International Call – The dialling code for international call is + <Country Code> <Area Code> <Telephone Number>, or 019 <Country Code> <Area Code> <Telephone Number>. International calls are charged according to the respective 001 or 019 rates as published in Zero1’s website and are subject to change without prior notice. Charges are applicable based on actual usage.When making outgoing international calls, local call charges are applicable and subject to applicable GST.
      3. International Roaming Services – Data, Voice and SMS roaming services are available for all subscribers except for foreigners and subscribers holding foreign passes such as Dependent Pass, Student Pass and Social Visit Pass.
        1. International Roaming Voice and SMS services are enabled upon subscription of Zero1 mobile plan.
        2. The use of International Data Roam services is subject to the followings:
          1. Data Roam services are applicable for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only. Customer needs to have an active mobile line registered under Zero1 to purchase and activate the Data Roam Plans: Roam AP (1GB, 18 Destinations) or Roam World (3GB, 81 Destinations).
          2. Data Roam plans are valid for 30 days upon activation. The service will start and end based on Singapore local date. Start time will be at 12 midnight regardless of what time the service is activated on the activation date. The service will automatically deactivate at 23:59, 30 consecutive days after the date of activation.

          4. Roam AP can only be used in Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam on Zero1’s preferred network operators.
          5. Roam World can only be used in Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Cambodia, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovak Republic, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, UK, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan and Vietnam on Zero1’s preferred network operators.
          6. Customer can purchase the Data Roam plans up to 14 days in advance. Payment will be charged to the Credit / Debit card registered with Zero1 upon purchase regardless of the start date. There will be no refund or rebate for cancellation, reschedule, unused or expired data roam bundles.
          7. Data Roam Network Lock is a default feature of Roam AP or Roam World plan and cannot be disabled. Data usage will be blocked if customer logs on to a non-preferred data network operator.
          8. Data Roam plans are to be used for personal and non-commercial purposes only.
          9. GST is not applicable for Data Roam plans.
          10. Data roaming speeds may vary depending on:

            • Overseas network coverage
            • Overseas network capacity
            • Overseas operators’ Fair Usage Policy

        3. Zero1 reserves the right to revise these specific Terms and Conditions for Roaming Services at its discretion and/or terminate, suspend in whole or in part any Roaming Services without prior notice. Use of Roaming Services will constitute acceptance of these specific Terms and Conditions, including the generic Terms and Conditions for Zero1 registration and the amendments thereof.
    10. Non-Commercial and Fair Usage Policy of Local Calls, Local SMS and Local Data
      1. Fair Use Policy applies for the unlimited data plan and is designed to manage the usage of users who are responsible for generating large volumes of traffic on our Mobile Network Operator(MNO) partner’s network via file sharing software or peer-to-peer/torrent apps on their phones or tables, and download large-format file such as music, videos and movies consistently.
      2. Free Local Calls and Local SMS are to any local fixed and mobile number. Customers are to use all free services strictly for personal and non-commercial purposes only.
      3. Customers are to use these services for personal and non-commercial purpose only. To ensure that the activities of some users do not impair the ability of Customers to have access to reliable services, this service is conditional on fair usage by Customers.
      4. Local calls are provided solely for live dialogue between, and initiated by, individuals for personal use and may not be used for any other purposes, including, but not limited to: monitoring services, transmission of broadcasts, transmission of recorded material, telemarketing, autodialed calls, other commercial uses, or other connections that do not consist of uninterrupted live dialogue between individuals.
      5. SMS may not be used to transmit or facilitate any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, telemarketing, promotional materials, "junk mail", unsolicited commercial or bulk messages, mass SMS broadcasts, sending of messages via automated means, or for activities that will adversely affect the ability of users or systems to use Zero1's services, or for any other reason that in our sole discretion violates our policy of providing service for individual use. As such, SMS is limited to 300 SMS per day regardless of plan allocation.
      6. Local data may not be used to transmit or facilitate any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, telemarketing, promotional materials, "junk mail", unsolicited commercial or bulk messages; or for activities that will adversely affect the ability of users or systems to use Zero1's services, or for any other reason that in our sole discretion violates our policy of providing service for individual use.
      7. Zero1 reserves the right, without notice or limitation, to deny, terminate, modify, throttle, disconnect or suspend services if an individual engages in unfair, excessive or abusive usage or if Zero1, at its sole discretion, determines that action is necessary to protect the network from harm or degradation.
      8. If a Customer uses more than 5,000 local call minutes per month, such usage will be deemed to be excessive usage. Use of file sharing software or peer-to-peer/torrent apps, and downloading abnormal amounts of large-format files such as music, videos and movies, or other activities that generate large volumes of traffic on Zero1 network will be deemed to be Excessive or abusive usage of Local data. Zero1 may deny, terminate, modify, throttle, disconnect or suspend services if an individual engages in unfair, excessive or abusive usage.
      9. Bundled unlimited mobile data is for local usage only.
        1. For each billing period, mobile data speed of the bundled data for each corresponding plan will be provided at 4G/4G+ network speeds unless otherwise stated. Thereafter, data speeds may be managed according to the network capacity and performance.
        2. Subscribers may continue to use mobile data service subject to Zero1’s Fair Use Policy in Clause 4. Usage within the bundled data shall be computed in blocks of 1MB even if less than 1MB is used. Subscriber’s mobile data service will be restored to 4G/4G+ speeds at the start of the next billing cycle based on the subscribed plan.
    11. Port-in Service
      1. “Port-In Service” means a service provided by Zero1 which allows Customer to retain his non-Zero1 post-paid mobile number by porting his line from his current mobile service provider (“Donor”) to a Zero1 post-paid line. Customer consents to the release of Customer’s information to a third party central number porting service provider and/or the Donor for the purpose of activating the Port-In Service.
      2. Customer agrees to pay all outstanding charges to the Donor, including pre-termination charges, if any, prior to the activation of the Port-In Service.
      3. Upon commencement of the Port-In Service, Customer’s existing contract with the Donor shall automatically terminate.
      4. If the Port-In Service request is rejected by the Donor for any reason, the Customer shall resolve any outstanding issue(s) with the Donor within the fourteen (14) days of the date of the Customer’s signing of the Port-In Service agreement with Zero1. If Customer fails to resolve any outstanding issue(s) with the Donor within fourteen (14) days of the date of the Customer’s signing of the Port-In Service agreement with Zero1, then Customer shall pay Zero1, immediately on demand, (i) cancellation charges of $21.80, (ii) $5.45 for the cost of the SIM card and (iii) device subsidy or any other subsidies (if any).
      5. Zero1 is not liable for any charges, penalties or fees imposed by the Customer’s existing operator due to porting. Zero1 is also not liable for any loss of use or loss of mobile number due to port-in failure whether or not the problem was caused by Zero1.
    12. Delivery & Collection
      1. Zero1 SIM Card are available for delivery to any address in Singapore. A delivery fee of $11.99 will apply. Please note that delivery charges are inclusive of GST.
      2. Zero1 SIM card will be made to the delivery address as provided by Customer during the registration process. The delivery will be handled by our delivery provider. Zero1 will not be responsible for any delivery accepted by you at your delivery address and Zero1 will provide you with a link to track your delivery status.
      3. Customer may authorise someone to receive the package on their behalf and provided all relevant information is provided during the order process. The authorised person must be at least 15 years of age and is required to present a printed copy of the signed authorisation letter, his/her original NRIC/FIN and Customer’s original NRIC/FIN in order to receive the item at the delivery address.
      4. Both the customer and authorised person must produce their original identification document used during the plan order process in order to receive the SIM card.
      5. Zero1 will not be liable for any losses, liability, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.
      6. In the event that we are unable to deliver to your stipulated address, Zero1 will be in contact using the provided contact details to re-arrange for delivery to an alternative delivery address.
      7. Upon delivery or collection, the customer or authorised recipient will be responsible for the product. Zero1 will not be liable for loss or destruction of the product subsequently.
      8. Before your delivery is dispatched on the selected day, you will receive a confirmation email/SMS regarding your delivery details. Please reschedule at this point if needed. Should the delivery attempt fail due to missed delivery slots or verification failure, Zero1 will notify you on the status via email/SMS/phone call. The customer will be liable to pay for courier at own cost for the second or subsequent delivery attempt.
      9. For self-collection, an email / SMS notification will be sent to you when your SIM Card is ready for collection. You are required to download and print out the Order Summary email and bring it with you together with your original identification document to any of our collection centres.
      10. SIM cards which are not activated within 14 business days (weekdays, excluding public holidays) after the order is successfully placed will be void, and no refund will be given.
      11. Delivery charge is payable by customer to our delivery provider for the following destinations:

    13. In-Network Short Message Service (SMS) Scanning Measures
      1. Please note that starting 1st November 2022, all incoming SMSes will be subject to In-Network Scanning by our partner Mobile Network Operator (MNO).
      2. MNO and Zero1 shall have the rights to collect content of SMS send/receive over the MNO's network for the purpose of identifying and blocking scam SMSes.
      3. Zero1 assures our subscribers that the content collected shall be used solely for the purpose of fraud or crime detection and prevention through our MNO carrying out identification and blocking of malicious SMS. Zero1 will ensure reasonable measures will be taken to protect personal data of our subscribers. 
    14. Zero1 reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions, including its promotional Terms and Conditions from time to time at its sole discretion without prior notice. All changes will be posted on this page and/or promotional pages, and your use of our services after such changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms and Conditions and all of the changes. You should therefore check this page and/or the promotional page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms & Conditions.
